Card Wallet
My walle’s kept wearing out quickly, and they would start fraying and tearing at the edges. They were also kind of fat. This was probably because most of them were cheap :p. One day i was thinking about making my own, and at first i thought of using duct tape. Then i tried to think of something that would be more durable, and i thought of playing cards. I also thought it would be cool because i am a magician. So after a long time of planning and cutting and taping, i had myself a playing card wallet. It has velcro so it will stay closed. With all the stuff, it’s as thin as my old wallet was when empty. It has also proven to be quite durable so far. In it I carry my school ID card, a credit card, a library card, a bus pass, a few bills cash, 10 business cards, 2 brush-ups, 3 band-aids, a few loose coins, a pen, and a strike anywhere match. Here are a few pics:

Plexiglass LED table
Awhile ago I decided I wanted a small table for my room, and I thought it would be fun to make it myself. I also got the idea of making it out plexiglass, so it would glow if I put LEDs in it. I went to Home Depot and found a piece of plexi that was the right size, then a long piece of wood and some metal clip thingies. I had already bought some blue LED’s online and had some wire laying around. I cut the piece of wood into four equal sized ones for the legs. Then I spray painted them black. Next i drilled holes into the plexi and attached the legs with screws and the metal things. The table was still shaky, so i got some smaller wood pieces and attached to the legs for support. Then i drilled holes into the side of the plexi and stuck the LED’s inside. I finally managed to figure out a way to wire them together so their wouldn’t be wires everywhere. I connected them with a switch i had attached to the side and to wires leading to a 3V wall adapter. Then i used electrical tape to cover up the wires a little bit. It was a fun project, and not too difficult. Here are a few pics:

Modified Start Button
Awhile ago, I found this tutorial on how you can change the text on your start button. It’s really cool, but it is a long process. You can change the windows logo too. I made mine into Waheguru and a khanda. Heres what it looked like:
Here are two different tutorials for anyone else who’d like to try.. Beware that if u mess up u could screw up your computer, as I did.. but i managed to fix it.. and get it right.. after a lot restarts.. So yeah, I’m not responsible if you screw up.. but if u follow directions properly, you should be fine.
If you want to change the picture as well, contact me and i’ll show u how.. ( after i re-teach myself..)

Sound Activated Lights
I had my computer custom configured from CyberPower. It’s cheaper than getting most pre-made computers, and you get to choose your own parts. I ordered mine with an included blue 12 inch cold cathode light. I ordered a few more online when i found some cheap ones. I also got a sound activated controller. So after some wire cutting and stuff, i stuck one behind my monitor. Here’s a video of the lights in action with keertan playing, and a few pictures of my system.
