My mom left me a jar of roasted Pistachios (Piste) in my room for me to eat all the time. This time i put the shells aside and kept them instead of throwing them away. Every time I ate some I tried to think of an idea of what to make with them. Finally I came up with this. Its a piece of cardboard covered with black construction paper, some wooden garden stake things painted gold, and the the shells washed, dried, and hot-glued on. Now its a display piece in our hallway!

It would be really cool if you made stuff like this to sell – this and your copper Darbar Sahib piece – they would make lovely gifts!

When i first saw this, i was amazed at the thought behind it. Who has the mind to think “I should keep the pistachio shells and make something out of them” ? Only someone very talented and creative.. And very unique would even think to do that.. And not only that.. But to use them to make something as beautiful as Ikonkar. To convey such an important message as God is one… With some pistachios. Only Vikram Singh would. And I’m not surprised it was his brilliant and clever mind behind this wonderful idea. You are very unique and through your website, one can see your love for Sikhi.
